This uncommon design comes from British designer Tom Dixon and was created for Magis, an Italian manufacturer. Presented during the events in Milan 2010, the “Mesh” chair has a very light and see-though structure. The production process is composed of two stages: the extrusion of aluminum in order to create the metal frames and the pressing of metal mesh for achieving the rest of the design. Due to its shape and color choice, the “Mesh” chair can be easily integrated in a home interior as well as in a professional environment. We are not sure about the ergonomics of the design- perhaps it feels more comfortable than it seems at a first glance, but we sure like its elegant and classy look.-via
